PG1000 Training | PG Inspection Technologies

PG Inspection Technologies can go to your facility for in-person training. However, in most cases we believe it is unnecessary and not worth the added cost.

We offer unlimited, no-cost on-demand remote training via TeamViewer. It is available to all customers who purchased their system through PG Inspection Technologies. We also provide it to customers for whom we perform annual on-site PM services.

Users retain more knowledge, and use more functionality within our software, when there is a stepped approach to the PG1000 training. For these reasons, and based on our experience, PG Inspection Technologies believes in a slower systematic approach to training a new user how to use the PG1000 and the REACTION software. Here is our suggested 5 step no cost training schedule for any new PG1000 user.

Step 1

New PG1000 systems are delivered pre-calibrated. Set-up instructions will be sent in a separate email.
Double click on the REACTION software logo to open the software. Accept the User’s Agreement and follow the steps to initiate/home each of the installed encoders.
Use the system for 5-20 minutes. You’ll quickly understand how the mechanicals work.

Step 2

Watch this video
Use the machine for 30-60 minutes now that you know a little more about the system and software.

Step 3

Watch these three videos:
Start using the machine. Don't be scared. You won’t break the system/software:)
Measure some tools in different ways (X & Y scale data, crosshairs, calculations, etc).

Step 4

Watch these videos. They review specific buttons and functionality within the software.

Contact us for any additional/advanced remote training (no cost) via TeamViewer. We have a demo system setup and ready for use and we can go over specific questions and functionality.
